Job description


The business is a market leading company based in LS25, they looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly finance team and take ownership of the ledger. With a great working culture and environment, you will be encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. You will be reporting to a supportive and engaging Financial Controller.

  • Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, resolving balancing items with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Payment authorisation
  • Employee expense claims
  • Dealing with queries.
  • Month end reporting
  • Ensure all daily and month end deadlines are met.
  • Preparing payment paperwork and seeking relevant approvals

  • Purchase Ledger experience

  • Able to manage own workload while achieving internal and external deadlines
