Axon Moore is proud to have partnered with a well-recognised and successful Wakefield based FMCG. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their dynamic, fast-paced finance team.  This role would offer an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk the opportunity to step up into a management level role.

The successful candidate will have previous Purchase Ledger experience with the ability to process high volumes of invoices, excellent excel skills, and the ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. If you have previous experience of managing, mentoring or supporting a small team this would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

Duties will include:
  • Line management for one Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Overseeing the posting, matching, approval of all invoices
  • Management of all queries
  • Review and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Month end reporting and analysis
  • Improving and streamlining processes
  • Training and support
Person Specification:
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role managing a team or the ability to prove through experience that you are ready for the next step in your career
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Solid team working skills
  • Ability to communicate appropriately, sensitively and maintain confidentiality
  • Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
  • Excellent attention to detail

Salary & Benefits:
