About Us

Axon Moore is the North’s leading financial and accountancy recruitment consultancy. With four offices across the North, our 50 strong specialist team has a track-record of sourcing and placing high-calibre financial candidates across a wide range of businesses from emerging SMEs to leading household brands.

With a history spanning 20 years, our team operates across the full spectrum of accountancy and finance roles, placing candidates at the start of their careers through our transactional and part-qualified teams, all the way through to C-suite and board level positions via our Executive Practice.

Our continued growth and longevity in the market is testament to the relationships we have and continue to build – we are the leading financial recruitment consultancy to work with, as testified by The Recruiter magazine’s Hot 100, a list of the 100 best performing recruitment firms in the UK.

But alongside this, we pride ourselves on being the best recruitment agency to work for, and have worked hard to create a culture where we are able to retain and attract the best recruitment professionals across the North. We ensure that our staff receive the flexibility, trust and respect to perform their job to the best of their ability, but also to develop and progress with us. We want our consultants to grow with their candidates on their career journey and to progress in line with them.

  • Work closely with Consultants to build long and short lists and attend subsequent interviews
  • Networking, marketing and face to face meetings
  • Most importantly, build trust and establish ongoing relationships with candidates
  • Work with the Yorkshire Team to plan, co-ordinate, deliver and attend social and added value client and candidate events. Previous events include round table dinners, co-hosted FD Breakfasts, Career development seminars, clay pigeon shooting, wine tasting, curry nights and 11 a side matches at professional football stadiums to name a few
What are we looking for?
  • An intelligent, hard-working individual with personality and character
  • Maturity and high levels of emotional intelligence
  • A genuine interest in people and business
  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Experience of the accountancy and finance sector would be advantageous

What do you get in return?
  • Continuous training, professional and personal development
  • A lively and engaging work environment with a range of great incentives such as team nights out, lunch clubs, annual summer conference and company trips
