Axon Moore are delighted to partner with this fantastic company based in the Heywood area, as they appoint a Credit Controller into their team. This role will directly report into the finance manager and will give you the opportunity to work within a fast paced fun environment.
Salary: 27,000 - £30,000

Main duties:
- Assist the Finance Manager on running the credit control function
- Allocate work to the credit controllers within the team
- Allocate customer receipts, chase overdue debtors and report on overdue cash position
- New customer accounts process – documentation, credit checks, negotiating terms etc
- Liaise with Sales / Operations / Purchasing where any payment invoice issues affect supply
- Ad-hoc tasks as required by senior Finance team and wider business requirements.
- Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role
- 3 years Credit Control experience in a Senior OR Team Leader role OR broad credit control role.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of credit management principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality
