Senior Credit Controller | Bolton | £40,000 DOE
Axon Moore are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing business in the Bolton area. Due to continued expansion, the position has become available for a Senior Credit Controller to come and really put their own stamp on this role.
You will be a stand-alone Credit controller with good knowledge of implementing systems from scratch as well as understanding the controls within the process.

You will be a stand-alone Credit controller with good knowledge of implementing systems from scratch as well as understanding the controls within the process.
The role:
- Undertake a review of the credit control function and implementing agreed improvements to processes and controls
- Evaluate the Credit Status of a debtors ledger
- Maintain accurate records of customers’ accounts and purchasing activities
- Conduct negotiations with customers to set terms and conditions for payment of receivables
- Review and implement revised compliance to standard policies and regulations
- Commence legal action where necessary
- Monitor payment history to identify changes in reparation
- Regular contact with customers to ensure good management of debt
- Monthly reconciliation of debtor ledger accounts
- Ensure Daily cash and debtor targets are met
- Proven experience as a Senior Credit Controller
- Comprehensive knowledge of credit control systems and processes
- Sage 200 experience or similar / Sage Job costing / Contract Costing
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within timescales
