Responsibilities:
- Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
- Mentorship of 2 part qualified Assistant Management Accountants
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Work closely with the Financial Controller on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queries
- Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Assisting the Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc analysis such as business cases for investment decisions
- Support a strong learning culture within the team, helping to develop all finance colleagues by providing ad-hoc ‘on the job’ training
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experience
- Ability to thrive within a fast paced environment
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
- The ability to create effective working relationships quickly
- Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
