This role will work as the number two to the Group taking responsibility for delivering the management accounts pack, that consists not only of reliable and meaningful numbers, but comes with insightful analysis that will help drive the business forward.
Commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships with non finance stakeholders will be key in this role, as you will be working closely with the SLT to assist in driving the business forward.

Key duties of this role will include:
- Preparation of management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, detailed variance analysis, MI pack, cashflow and commentary
- Preparation of weekly financial reporting including sales, margin and production variances
- Provide detailed excel spreadsheet modelling for analysis and forecasting purposes
- Preparation of reports, written, numerical and visual, using a proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint for presentation to the Leadership Team and the Board of Directors
- Continuously look for opportunities to streamline processes to increase efficiency of month-end and enable the focus to remain forward-looking
- Responsible for rolling P&L and Cashflow forecasts as well as the annual budget
- Work with the HR Manager to produce monthly Payroll on Sage
- Work with the Group FC to proactively lead efficient cash-flow management through the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions within the team
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, or qualified by experience - Essential
- Be an experienced management accountant with experience in manufacturing/FMCG - Essential
- Have proven experience of driving process improvements within a finance team - Essential
- Be commercially astute with strong business partnering skills and the ability to build strong relationships with non finance stakeholders - Essential
