Interim Finance Director (Outside IR35) - Manchester based with regular UK wide travel (expensed)

As the interim Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in restructuring the finance department of one of the recently acquired business and integrating and streamlining this with the finance department in Head Office.

Duties:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide visionary financial leadership, collaborating with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with our growth objectives. Drive financial transformation and optimisation through insightful analysis and effective decision-making.
- Oversee and lead the strategic restructuring of our business operations. Utilise your expertise in financial processes and best practices to streamline operations and enhance financial performance across the business
- Demonstrate your financial acumen by effectively handling complex financial data and implementing robust financial controls.
- Implementing processes to improve working capital.
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with accounting standards. Implement efficient revenue reporting mechanisms and transparency measures to provide valuable insights to the leadership team.
- Establish strong financial controls and alignment with partners' objectives for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and external parties, to provide clear financial insights, recommendations, and presentations. Enhance relationships and build trust through effective communication.
- Mentor a team of talented finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Qualified UK Accountant: Hold a recognised UK accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) to demonstrate your expertise in financial management and compliance with UK financial regulations.
- Finance leadership experience and restructuring, a successful track record as a Finance Director or in similar senior finance roles, particularly in high-growth and acquisitive environments.
- Change Management: Proven experience in leading financial change initiatives and restructuring projects.
