Interim Project Accountant, circa 3 months (Outside IR35)
Axon Moore are looking for an Interim Project Accountant for a large well known organisation who have a division specialising in 3rd party construction for sub-contract work.
The role involves handling a high volume of reconciliations, comparing invoices with records, interpreting funding agreements, and addressing complexities within a challenging ledger.

The role involves handling a high volume of reconciliations, comparing invoices with records, interpreting funding agreements, and addressing complexities within a challenging ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform high volumes of reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial records.
- Scrutinise invoices against relevant records, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Reading and interpret funding agreements to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Address and untangle complexities within a messy ledger, implementing effective solutions to streamline financial processes.
- Work closely with internal teams, sub-contractors, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or related industry.
- Ideally have some experience in the construction industry and sub-contract work.
- Professional contractor
